Jean Stallard, J.D.
Jean Stallard is the General Counsel of Model Software Corporation. She graduated from Duke University with a B.A. in Philosophy, and received her J.D. from Vanderbilt University School of Law. After practicing corporate and securities law in New York City, Jean moved to New Orleans where she joined The Milling Firm as an associate.
Next, she acted as in-house counsel to The Louisiana Land and Exploration Company (LL&E) as Associate Counsel and later as Senior Counsel. Jean then moved to Denver, Colorado where she became an Assistant General Counsel to KN Energy. Later, after returning to New Orleans as counsel to Patrick, Miller and Burnside, she joined colleagues from LL&E in starting Energy Partners, Ltd. (NYSE:EPL) where she was a founding shareholder, Assistant General Counsel/General Counsel as well as a Vice President.
